WHAT IS WELLBEING COACHING?

Wellbeing coaching is a process of personal development where an the individual is looking to make sustainable change to their mind-set, self-awareness or approach to specific situations and emotions. The MINDmatter idea is centred around the core belief that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution to wellbeing and that the bespoke strategies work best when they’re integrated into daily life with the aim of becoming part and parcel of an intuitive lifestyle.


Therefore, coaching can take place across a whole spectrum of activities, strategies and environments to ensure positive change occurs and continues. Sessions could be in a café or classroom, at home, on top of a hill or out in the woods and they could involve anything from meditation to mountain biking. 


The individual will be actively engaged with the whole process, positively influencing how each session unfolds and progresses – the aim being to facilitate an understanding and awareness within each person. 


A slightly different approach is sometimes necessary to fit into a dedicated school environment and I ensure that exact school policy is fully catered for and adhered to.

CAN I BOOK ONE SESSION WITH YOU?

Yes, but… Fundamental to any successful coaching is the trust and understanding that comes with the establishment of an in-depth, detailed personal connection. Ideally, a programme of six-eight sessions would allow us to build such a rapport enabling an accurate understanding of the necessary wellbeing path whilst also reflecting-on progress in their day to day life. It is widely accepted that it takes a minimum of 21 days to form a habit and the same can be said of acting for an individual’s wellbeing. Furthermore, continuity is king.

WHY 'MINDMATTER'?

No two life-experiences are ever the same. It might sound self-explanatory but how many times have you said ‘I know exactly how you feel’ before bombarding the individual with your own take on their situation? MINDmatter recognises that we all have our personal battles and unique challenges to overcome and that the ability to do this comes from within. That there are always solutions in spite our situations.

HOW MUCH DOES WELLBEING COACHING COST?

Costing MINDmatter wellbeing coaching is entirely dependent on the scope and ambitions of the school or clients. The free-consultation session will allow me to gauge a better understanding of how I would like coaching to proceed. We can then work together to come to a price point dependent on identified needs, desire and time frames. 

HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

Schools - Schools will be invoiced for services provided unless a different payment structure is agreed beforehand. 

 

Individuals - Payments for MINDmatter services are ideally made through online transfer or BACs. It is possible to work out a payment structure that works for you - session by session or in larger chunks. Drop me a line if you wish to discuss how you or your child can access wellbeing coaching!
